My *New Whipped Shea Butter Mix

For the new year I started a winter regimen and I needed to update my Whipped Shea Butter Mix.

In the post entitled “My Whipped Shea Butter” I showed which ingredients I used and how I achieved my mix. I had used a Coconut oil that I really wanted to try, Dabur Vatika Coconut oil. I noticed the smell immediately and the smell does not seem to fade. I love the smell at first but I find that it lingers a little too long and I am not yet accustomed to it. Needless to say, my previous Whipped Shea mix had the strong smell of the Vatika oil and it lingered…for days. I now use it as a hot oil treatment from time to time. NEVA throw out a mix that may not suite you daily….it can be used as a pre-poo/hot oil treatment occasionally!

Below I’ve added the pics of the ingredients in my New Whipped Shea mix which I use approximately every second day.

Coconut & Almond oil

Amount of Shea used

About 5 tblspn coconut oil

5 tblspn of Sweet Almond oil

Whip it, Whip it good

After about 10 minutes in the fridge,

Final product!

The mix was smoother this time since I used a little more oil than the last mix I whipped up. Although it hardened in the fridge…at room temperature it has a light, smooth and easy to use consistency. Not runny…but melts easily with body heat.

Smooth at room temp

Products found at:

  1. To whom it may concern:
We are importers and manufacturers of unrefined yellow and cream Shea butter. Our business is located in North Dakota, but we also have an office in Ghana where we work with the tribes to produce the finest Shea butter in the world. We want to offer you a lower price than what you are currently buying for. I will offer you Shea butter for $2.25/lb. If you find Shea butter at a lower price, we will beat that price by 5%. Please let us be your supplier. We have great customer service and can produce up to 100 metric tons per month. If you want large quantities, the price is much lower.
Please email us or contact us by phone whether you are interested or not.
    Thanks for your time
